Brian Bowman, a native of Detroit, Michigan, now residing in Columbus, Ohio, holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business Administration, as well as an MBA from Franklin University. He is also a graduate of John Casablanca Modeling and Talent Management.
As a devoted husband and father of four, with seven grandchildren, Brian balances his personal life with his professional endeavors. He works as a manager, head writer, and CFO for BLACK JACK ENTERTAINMENT AGENCY LLC, a company he co-founded.
Brian's passion for horror movies inspired him to write two novels. His debut novel, "MY BROTHER'S KEEPER", was published in the spring of 2008, and his second novel, "I LOVE YOU", was self-published in the spring of 2011. He is currently working on his third horror novel, "WET".
In addition to his writing, Brian has remained actively involved in community events. He is a co-founder of THE ANNUAL EASTER FEAST, which feeds approximately 300 people, and sponsors THE ANNUAL GOSPEL SHOWCASE AND DINNER, featuring local talent at no cost.
As a motivational speaker, Brian has delivered speeches at Community Connections and the Day Reporting Program, managed a local artist, hosted entertainment events, mentored young adults, and played a key role in the construction and publication of three community magazines.
Brian is also the host of an internet radio show, THE ORDER RADIO, where local talent is interviewed and community issues are brought to light.
His love for acting led him to appear in several local stage plays, including "What Color is Trouble?", "The Promise", "The Bell Ringer", "A Wing and a Prayer", "Secrets of a Dark Skinned Sister", "The Holy Shop", and "1940s Radio Hour". This experience inspired him to try his hand at screen acting and write, co-direct, and star in "MY BROTHER'S KEEPER THE SERIES", based on his novel.
The success of these projects led Brian to write, produce, and star in a feature-length film, "THE GAME DONE CHANGED", which premiered to a sold-out crowd at an AMC theater.
Brian's acting career has also included roles in several motion pictures, including "Madtown", "UFO", "Church Gossip", "St. Gabriel", "Fast 8", "Life & Death of John Gotti", "Liberty Mean", "Girl From Compton", "First Kill", and a principal role in "Miles Ahead", written and directed by Don Cheadle.
Brian is currently working on other film projects and has a screenplay and TV pilot in development.
His ultimate goal is to create a culture of positive adults that the youth can relate to and learn from, living by the slogan, "Keep ya head up, stay strong and stay focused!"
