Bryna Weiss, along with her husband Joe and esteemed ABC news anchor Irv Weinstein, his wife Elaine, founded and established The Playhouse, a 124-seat legitimate theater in Buffalo, New York. Throughout her tenure as Executive Producer/Director and Artistic Director, Weiss was instrumental in the theater's success, serving in this capacity for a period of four and a half years prior to its eventual closure.
Notably, Weiss conducted major interviews with a diverse range of notable individuals, including O.J. Simpson, Hume Cronyn and Jessica Tandy, Tony Bennett, and many others, for broadcast on Public Television. In addition, she provided interviews and reviews of film and stage productions for both commercial and public radio stations throughout New York State.
Moreover, Weiss appeared in her one-woman show, "Lily," written by Hindi Brooks, in numerous performances worldwide for a span of ten years.
