Cady McClain is a talented actress, director, producer, and writer with a long and illustrious career in the entertainment industry. Born in Los Angeles, California, she is a 9th generation Californian and of Mexican heritage on her father's side. McClain began her professional acting career at the age of 9 and has since worked with respected directors such as Herbert Ross, Richard Benjamin, Marvin Chomsky, and John Erman.
Throughout her career, McClain has appeared in numerous films and television shows, including "My Favorite Year," "Pennies From Heaven," "Law and Order SVU," "Cheers," and "St. Elsewhere." She has also had a successful career in theater, performing in Off-Broadway productions such as "The Red Address," "Much Ado About Nothing," and "A Comedy of Errors."
In addition to her acting career, McClain is also a skilled director and producer. She has directed several short films, including "Butterflies," "Venice the Series," and "The Missing Piece," and has produced and edited all three versions of her documentary, "Seeing is Believing: Women Direct."
