Camille Houssière, a talented French singer, was born on May 22, 1992, in the charming town of Bersillies, situated in the vicinity of Maubeuge. As the daughter of a singer and guitarist, Camille was naturally exposed to the world of music from a very young age, alongside her two older sisters.
At the tender age of twelve, she made her mark on the competitive music scene by emerging victorious in the esteemed local singing competition known as les Voix de Noël, held in the charming town of Hautmont.
Following this impressive achievement, she continued her academic pursuits by attending the prestigious lycée Notre-Dame de Grâce à Maubeuge, where she honed her skills and knowledge.
Upon obtaining her baccalaureate, she went on to further her education at the esteemed University of Valenciennes, where she was able to expand her intellectual horizons and lay the foundation for a successful and fulfilling career.
Camille embarked on a solo music career, adopting the artistic persona of Jimmie, and debuted with her inaugural album, La Grande Aventure, which blended elements of pop and folk music to create a unique sound.
On the fifteenth day of September in the year two thousand seventeen, a significant musical event transpired as a solo artist released a captivating single, aptly titled "Self Control". This talented individual was fortunate enough to have been encouraged by close friends, Nuno Resende and Merwan Rim, to showcase their vocal abilities in front of the esteemed musical producer, Dove Attia. This impromptu performance ultimately led to the artist being awarded the coveted role of Olympe in the highly acclaimed and ambitious musical production, 1789: Les Amants de la Bastille.
Dove Attia, a renowned creative force, extended an invitation to a talented individual to portray the character of Guenièvre in his ambitious new musical production, La Légende du roi Arthur, which was poised to make its grand debut on September 17, 2015, at the prestigious Palais des congrès de Paris. Following its initial premiere, the musical embarked on a nationwide tour of France in 2016, captivating audiences across the country with its enchanting tale.
Camille has not only ventured into the realm of music, but has also lent her voice to various album projects, including the enchanting "We Love Disney" and the sophisticated "Forever Gentlemen Volume 2". Moreover, she has had the privilege of being featured in a captivating photoshoot for the esteemed fashion brand, Tara Jarmon. Additionally, Camille has showcased her musical prowess by joining forces with four other talented vocalists to form a quintet, which has had the opportunity to take the stage at the prestigious "Les Chansons d'abord" event, alongside the renowned singer-songwriter, Natasha St-Pier.
Beyond her illustrious career as a musician, Camille also ventured into the realm of cinematic arts, landing a notable role as Hélène Barignet in the film Marché noir, directed by the talented Emmanuel Fricero.
