Alacchi's formative years were spent in the vibrant city of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, where he was immersed in a unique cultural landscape. However, his summers were punctuated by trips to the charming Sicilian beach town of Capo d'Orlando, where he would visit his grandparents' home. This dichotomy of experiences, juxtaposing the modern world of North America with the ancient world of Sicily, would later influence his artistic expression as a thespian.
As he honed his craft, Alacchi's training in various styles of theatre, singing, and dancing laid the foundation for his diverse range of creative pursuits. His impressive credits in film, television, cartoons, video games, industrial productions, commercials, and theatre showcases his adaptability and versatility as a performer.
Interestingly, Alacchi's foray into visual art began after he completed his acting studies. His artistic journey started under the guidance of artist Pippo Basile in Capo d'Orlando, where he would spend hot summer afternoons watching Basile paint and engaging in lively discussions about life. As he mixed colors and learned the techniques of his mentor, Alacchi discovered a new passion and a fresh outlet for his creativity.
