Biography

Carl Goldstein is a highly accomplished producer, writer, director, and assistant director with a vast array of experience in the film and television industry. With a background in classical theater and film studies, Goldstein has worked on over 50 studio feature films and 100 television projects, including his own independently produced film, "The Rock N' Roll Rabbi," which won an audience favorite award at the World Film Festival in Montreal.

Throughout his career, Goldstein has had the opportunity to work closely with many talented directors and producers, including Stanley Kubrick, David Lean, Sam Raimi, Brian DePalma, Michael Cimino, Sean Penn, Ivan Reitman, Michael Mann, Al Pacino, Robert Benton, Keenan Ivory Wayans, David Madden, and John McTernan. He has also choreographed and directed 2nd Unit action sequences for several notable films, including "Last of the Mohicans," "Die Hard with a Vengeance," "Most Wanted," "Path to 911," and "Sony Pictures Sniper: Ultimate Kill."

In addition to his work in film, Goldstein has also been a prolific episodic television director and creative consultant, working on numerous hit action comedy shows for networks such as FOX Family, Disney, BBC, ABC, NBC, ABC Family, Nickelodeon, and many others. He has also written, produced, directed, and financed several feature films, including "The Bail aka Fizzy Business" and "Zolar."

Goldstein has also had the opportunity to work on several marketing campaigns with various networks and their star talent, including Sally Fields, the cast of "Friends," SNL, Seinfeld, Vampire Diaries, I-Zombie, Prison Break, Nikita, Beverly Hills 90210, Melrose Place, Mad About You, CSI, CSI Miami, Homeland, Breaking Bad, Two and Half Men, and The Honeymooners with Cedric the Entertainer.

Throughout his career, Goldstein has received numerous awards and accolades, including multiple Promax Awards for producing and directing network advertisements and a "Two Thumbs Up" from legendary critic Roger Ebert for his two Superbowl Ads for CBS's Martial Law.
