Cassandra Church was born to Donna and David Church at Homestead Air Force base, Florida, where her parents were stationed at the time. As a young child, she already showed a promising talent for acting and singing, and she was determined not to let her family's frequent moves from base to base hold her back from pursuing her passion for performing.
At the tender age of five, Cassandra began learning the arts of dance and martial arts in Bitburg, Germany, where her family was stationed for a brief period. By the time they moved to Virginia at the age of eight, she was already competing in local talent shows, showcasing her impressive vocal range, and lending her voice to musical theater productions.
When her family relocated to Florida at the age of eleven, Cassandra enrolled in Orange Grove Middle Magnet School of the Performing Arts, where she honed her skills, secured her first agent, and began learning the ins and outs of the entertainment industry. However, her family's nomadic lifestyle was far from over, and at the age of thirteen, they moved to England, the epicenter of the world's theater scene.
In England, Cassandra immersed herself in the world of Shakespearean drama and dance, taking acting classes at Arts Ed in London and landing roles in several productions at the Theater Royal in Bury St Edmunds. Upon graduating from RAF Lakenheath American High School at the age of seventeen, Cassandra auditioned for and was accepted into the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City.
Despite receiving an early scholarship to the esteemed academy, Cassandra's family was unable to afford the tuition fees, so she made the difficult decision to forgo the opportunity and instead moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she trained to become an esthetician and worked part-time as a makeup artist for ManiaTV in Denver.
One year and a diploma later, Cassandra packed her bags once more and made the final move to Los Angeles, California, where she enrolled in Cinema Makeup School. Six years later, she still calls Los Angeles home and has successfully transitioned her makeup artistry skills into a career as an actress, singer, and model.
Represented by Alex Fox at C.E.S.D for the past five years, Cassandra has appeared in numerous commercials, indie horror films, and music videos, including the iconic music video for My Chemical Romance's "I Don't Love You". Her most notable role to date is that of Ginny, the makeup artist, on the popular television show Beverly Hills: 90210. When she's not acting, Cassandra is the lead singer of the band Sing Orpheus, which has recently signed with Dilettante Recordings and performs at venues across the country alongside her fiancé, Jeffrey Sebelia, winner of Project Runway, Season 3, and bass player in the band.
