Cedric Alexander, a formidable force in the WWE's Cruiserweight division, has been driven by a singular focus since his arrival: unleashing devastating kicks to inflict pain on his opponents. Prior to his WWE tenure, Alexander established himself as a mainstay in the American independent scene, rubbing shoulders with some of the elite wrestlers, including Kevin Owens, AJ Styles, and Tommaso Ciampa, among others.
His impressive performance in the inaugural WWE Cruiserweight Classic left the WWE Universe in awe of his striking prowess, aerial abilities, and unwavering heart. In a Second Round match against tournament favorite Kota Ibushi, Alexander delivered a performance for the ages, earning the admiration of WWE COO Triple H and sending fans into a frenzy, begging for more.
Despite his promising start, Alexander came up short in the inaugural 205 Live Episode 1, where he participated in a Fatal-4-Way Elimination Match to determine the No.1 Contender to the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. In a closely contested match, he was ultimately eliminated by Hideo Itami.
Alexander's fortunes didn't fare much better on RAW Episode 50, where he suffered a defeat at the hands of Xavier Woods.
