Chad Brummett, a native of New Mexico, has spent over three decades honing his craft in the realms of stage, screen, and television. His academic foundation was established with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater from the University of New Mexico, laying the groundwork for a rich and varied career.
As a resident member of Tricklock Company from 2002 to 2011, Brummett's work spanned the narrative spectrum, encompassing a wide range of creative endeavors. However, in 2013, his professional trajectory took a significant turn, as he joined KRQE Media Group in Albuquerque, assuming the role of host for the popular program "New Mexico Living". This marked the beginning of his foray into broadcast and lifestyle television.
Building upon this success, Brummett expanded his creative scope in 2016, developing the short-form documentary journalism series "Legendary New Mexico" in collaboration with KRQE. This innovative project showcased his versatility as a storyteller and his ability to craft compelling narratives.
Throughout his illustrious career, Brummett has garnered numerous accolades, including three regional Emmy Awards for his work as a producer, writer, editor, and photographer. Additionally, he has received four NM Broadcasters Association Awards for Excellence in Broadcasting, recognizing his outstanding contributions as a producer and multi-media journalist.
