Charles Newirth, a renowned film producer, has had a prolific career spanning over three decades. He has worked on numerous blockbuster films, including Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Doctor Strange, and Iron Man Three for Marvel Studios.
Newirth's tenure at Revolution Studios, which began in 2001, was marked by the release of 47 films, including America's Sweethearts, Black Hawk Down, xXx, Anger Management, Daddy Day Care, Mona Lisa Smile, Hellboy, 13 Going on 30, Click, and Rocky Balboa.
As Executive Producer at Revolution Studios, Newirth oversaw the physical production of all motion pictures, including The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep, Across the Universe, Freedomland, Christmas with the Kranks, Peter Pan, Maid in Manhattan, The One, and America's Sweethearts.
Before joining Revolution Studios, Newirth produced the sleeper hit Galaxy Quest in 1999. He also produced the popular films Patch Adams and Home Fries, starring Drew Barrymore.
In addition, Newirth co-produced Robert Zemeckis' Academy Award-winning blockbuster Forrest Gump in 1994. His other credits as an Executive Producer include City of Angels, Ghosts of Mississippi, The American President, Phenomenon, and Toys.
Newirth's early career began in the film industry as a location manager on films such as Flashdance, Pretty in Pink, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off. He later moved up to production manager on Throw Momma from the Train and RoboCop before getting his first producing credit as an associate producer on The Package.
Newirth received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cinema from Ohio State University and was raised in Scarsdale, New York.
