Kim Jong-dae, also professionally known as Chen, was born on September 21, 1992, in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. This talented individual's musical journey began in 2012 when he debuted as a member of the sub-unit EXO-M within the renowned K-pop group EXO. Since then, he has been an integral part of not one, but two other notable musical projects - SM the Ballad and EXO's sub-unit EXO-CBX, alongside fellow bandmates Xiumin and Baekhyun.
Throughout his illustrious career, Chen has had the privilege of lending his voice to numerous original soundtracks (OSTs) for Korean dramas and films. His impressive discography boasts a wide range of collaborations with other accomplished artists, including the late SHINee's Jonghyun, Dynamic Duo, and most recently, 10cm.
In addition to his impressive musical endeavors, Chen has also ventured into the world of theater, taking on the character of Benny in the production of "In the Heights". With his impressive vocal range and captivating stage presence, it's no wonder that Chen has become a beloved figure in the K-pop scene and beyond.
