Born in the picturesque city of Bologna, Italy, this talented individual has made a name for herself as a multifaceted artist, exceling in both the realms of acting and photography.
Throughout her illustrious career, she has had the privilege of collaborating with some of the most renowned directors in the industry, including the legendary Michelangelo Antonioni, the acclaimed Liliana Cavani, Marco Tullio Giordana, Gus Van Sant, and Mia Handsen-Love, to name a few.
In addition to her work in front of the camera, she has also explored her passion for photography, debuting her first exhibits in 2008 and going on to showcase her work at the prestigious Biennale di Venezia in 2011. Her photography has also been featured in a solo exhibit in Tokyo in 2014, further solidifying her status as a talented and versatile artist.
But it's not just her work in acting and photography that has garnered attention - she has also made a mark as a director, debuting with the short film "Per sempre" in 2000, which was selected for competition at the 57th Venice International Film Festival. Her directorial skills were subsequently recognized with the prestigious Nastro d'Argento Prize.
