China Chow, a renowned individual, divides her time between two major cities, New York City and Los Angeles.
Born in London, she is the child of the late model and designer, Tina Chow, who tragically passed away in 1992 due to AIDS, and restaurateur Michael Chow, whose esteemed Mr. Chow restaurants are a sensation in London, Manhattan, and Beverly Hills.
China has a younger brother, Maximillian Chow, and proudly holds the distinction of being the first college graduate in her family. She earned her degree from Scripps College, majoring in psychology.
Prior to pursuing a career in acting, China spent several years as a model, following in her mother's footsteps. She posed for Shiseido cosmetics in Japan, was featured on billboards for Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein, and was named one of Harper's Bazaar's "It Girls" in 1996.
Furthermore, she was recognized in the December 1996 edition of Vogue magazine's "The Next Best-Dressed List". Her acting debut was in the 1998 film, The Big Hit, alongside Mark Wahlberg, with whom she is rumored to be dating.
