A native Texan, Chip is renowned for his remarkable ability to bring quirky characters to life through his remarkable performances, and his unwavering dedication to his craft is truly admirable. His extensive repertoire includes a wide range of roles, from a young Amish man on the popular television series Cold Case to a German brain surgeon with a secret passion for rap music.
Born in Arlington, Texas, Chip spent his formative years in and around the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Upon graduating from Glen Rose High School in Glen Rose, Texas, he received an acting scholarship from Tarleton State University, which he later transferred to the esteemed KD Studio film acting school in Dallas, where he graduated as Valedictorian.
Chip's early career was marked by his work in the theater and on camera in the Southwest market, and he went on to earn his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at The University of Texas at Arlington, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a perfect 4.0 departmental average. Following the guidance of his Los Angeles-based agent and manager, he relocated to the city and quickly began working on a variety of projects. His first national commercial booking in LA was facilitated by the highly respected casting director Francene Selkirk of Zydeco Studios, and he soon found himself working steadily in both film and television.
Throughout his career, Chip has had the opportunity to write, produce, and direct numerous projects, showcasing his versatility and creative range. When not working on his craft, he is passionate about his family, friends, animals, and philanthropic endeavors.
