Chris Greene, a native New Yorker born in Mount Vernon and raised in Yonkers, has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry through his roles on popular TV shows such as Queen of the South and ATLANTA, as well as his appearances in historically based films like LOVING and The Birth of a Nation.
Prior to pursuing his passion for acting, Chris earned a musical scholarship to attend Winston Salem State University in North Carolina, where he was introduced to the world of dramatic arts through his training at the North Carolina School of the Arts. It was during this time that Chris landed his first featured role in the independent film Chicks 101, sparking a lifelong love affair with the craft of acting.
With over two decades of training and experience under his belt, Chris has had the opportunity to work alongside some of Hollywood's most esteemed actors and directors, and has appeared in commercials for top brands and companies. His extensive background in the industry has also allowed him to develop a keen sense of direction, which he has put to use as the director and producer of short and documentary films through his production company, Detour Entertainment.
These films have gone on to receive top nominations and wins at several reputable film festivals, a testament to Chris's talent and dedication to his craft. When he's not working on set, Chris can be found spending quality time with his daughter Zoé, who has also followed in her father's footsteps and begun acting.
