Chris Kanyon's Professional Wrestling Career: A Timeline of Gimmick Changes and Stable Affiliations
Chris Kanyon, a talented wrestler, made his debut in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1995, initially performing under the ring name Chris Kanyon. He was soon paired with Mark Starr, and together they were given a construction workers gimmick, adopting the moniker Men At Work.
As his career progressed, Kanyon underwent a significant transformation, evolving into Mortis, a member of James Vandenberg's (James Mitchell) Collection Of Human Oddities in 1997. This marked a pivotal moment in his wrestling journey, as he began to experiment with various personas and affiliations.
Following his stint with The Collection Of Human Oddities, Kanyon joined The Raven's Flock stable, led by the enigmatic Raven (Scott Levy). During this period, he was simply known as Kanyon, and his wrestling style continued to evolve.
In the years that followed, Kanyon went through a series of gimmick changes, reflecting his versatility and adaptability as a performer. He became a key member of The Jersey Triad, alongside Scott 'Bam Bam' Bigelow and Diamond Dallas Page (Page Falkinberg).
Kanyon's subsequent personas included Chris 'Champagne' Kanyon, or CCK for short, and 'Positively' Kanyon, a character that eerily mimicked Diamond Dallas Page's mannerisms. In a bold move, 'Positively' Kanyon even claimed to have written an autobiography, aptly titled 'Positively Kanyon', a nod to Page's own memoir, 'Positively Page'.
