Chris, a 2005 graduate of the School of Visual Arts, earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in animation, a deliberate choice to hone his skills in filmmaking, becoming a more creative, diverse, and efficient storyteller. Focusing on Stop-Motion animation, Chris mastered various techniques and skills in special effects, including makeup, prosthetics, set design, and prop building, setting him apart as a filmmaker.
Throughout his career, Chris has amassed over 400 filmmaking credits, showcasing his versatility and talent. Some of his most notable works include the popular horror fan film "The Nightmare Ends on Halloween", where he brought together iconic horror characters Freddy, Michael, Jason, Leatherface, and Pinhead. He also created the viral PSA "The Powerpuff Girls", the infamous online film serial "The Deadpool Webseries", which caught the attention of 20th Century Fox, and the fan-favorite "Krueger: Tales from Elm Street" series, widely regarded as the definitive origin story for Freddy Krueger by fans and ANOS alumni.
In 2007, Chris began working on his first feature film, "Methodic", officially the world's first basher movie, a subgenre of horror that he himself created. The film's unique concept, where the killer bludgeons his victims to death, led to the coinage of the term "basher". "Methodic" is currently available on Amazon Prime.
In January 2024, Chris celebrated 20 years of filmmaking under his company Blinky Productions Inc, which has collectively produced over 400 short films, commercials, music videos, radio dramas, and several feature films, solidifying his position as a prolific and innovative filmmaker.
