Chris Sullivan is a renowned Irish/British actor, writer, and director who has received numerous accolades for his work. He received his training in both classical and modern theatre at The Birmingham School of Speech Training & Dramatic Art.
Before embarking on his acting career, Chris had a diverse range of occupations. He started his working life as a motorcyclist delivering telegrams for the post office in Birmingham, England. He then went on to work as a fairground worker in Scotland, collecting fares on the dodgem cars. Chris also had stints as a sales correspondent, a part-time soldier in the Special Air Service (TA),and a labourer at a very hot bakery in Northamptonshire.
In 1995, Chris decided to start anew and emigrated to Los Angeles with only ten dollars in his pocket and a plan to further his career. He ended up performing a one-man Irish show, "A Bit of Irish," which lasted for ten years and was showcased at various venues, including the Edinburgh Festival, the Jermyn Street Theatre in London's West End, the Santa Monica Playhouse in California, and various Irish Fairs and colleges in the USA and provincial theatres in the UK.
In addition to his acting career, Chris is also a published novelist and blogger. He writes a blog called "The Storyteller," which is widely read around the world. Chris describes his blog as the "ramblings of a Hollywood actor and novice novelist."
