Chris Villa's educational background began at Webster College in St. Louis, Missouri, where he studied acting. His mother, Susie Williams, is the owner of Wright's Stores, and he has two older brothers, Rhett and Brad.
Before pursuing his acting career, Chris was the President of Deca Fashion Marketing at George D. Chamberlain High School in Tampa, Florida. During his tenure, he advised 200 students in the part-time work program, with 50 students focusing on fashion marketing, management, and advertising campaigns, and 150 students working at local grocery stores.
After completing high school, Chris was sent to Dallas, Texas, by Brown Shoes Company to work as a ladies' shoes salesperson and begin his modeling and acting career through The Robert Burton Agency. He quickly became the top shoe salesperson, with Mary Kay as his main client.
An executive from Brown Shoes Company visited Chris in Dallas to interview him and review the display of Connie Shoes, a partnership with Brown Shoes. Impressed with his performance, they hired him to work with all their stores across America, moving him to St. Louis, Missouri.
In New York City, Chris studied with renowned instructors such as Renee Roy at Actors in Advertising and Margo McKee's Soap Opera Technique. He also received dance scholarships at Steps and Broadway Dance Studios, where he trained in ballet, jazz, and hip-hop.
Chris's big break in NYC came when he landed the role of Jesus (Welder) in the American Bible Society's production of Gerasene Demoniac. He simultaneously worked part-time at Barney's ladies' shoes on 17th Street and 7th Avenue, where his clients included Oprah Winfrey, Cher, Madonna, Roberta Flack, Mimi Rogers, and Tom Cruise. He was the top salesperson in terms of volume per hour and won all contests in the ladies' departments, with managers Karen Bishop and Janice Galloway.
Chris has since moved to West Hollywood, where he has worked on numerous TV shows, films, and commercials. His ultimate goal is to become a talk show host and make a significant amount of money to open the CHRISTOPHER VILLA HOMELESS SHELTER AND WORKPLACE.
Chris is currently working with his cousin, Phil Welker, on the editing of The Stars of Palm Springs, a project featuring Lisa Coleman, Debbie, Sham, Steve, Dean, Skip Jensen, Ray, Mona, Terri, and Dick John Goldsmith.
