Since 1987, he has directed an impressive ten feature films, numerous television shows, and developed content for alternative distribution and interactive platforms. Through his production company, Christopher is committed to nurturing the next generation of filmmakers by providing opportunities for students from the San Francisco Art Institute to intern and learn from industry professionals on set. In 2006, Christopher founded Project Accessible Hollywood (PAH),a non-profit digital film festival designed to bridge the gap between technology and creativity. PAH's mission is to empower individuals to express themselves artistically through digital media, while also providing education and training on the effective use of digital tools. To date, over sixty PAH-FESTs have been held across the United States and abroad, serving as a testament to the organization's impact and reach.
In addition to his work in the film industry, Christopher is also dedicated to promoting arts education in public schools and digital media literacy. As a tenure professor at the San Francisco Art Institute, he heads the film program and continues to inspire and mentor the next generation of filmmakers. His commitment to arts education has also led him to serve as a councilman for the California Arts Council, a position he was reappointed to by Governor Jerry Brown for a second term.
