Born on March 13, 1962, in the Bronx, New York, Chuck's athletic prowess was evident from a young age. At the tender age of seven, he made the bold move to Los Angeles, California, and quickly became immersed in the world of school sports. His impressive skills earned him the prestigious title of Athlete of the Year at Glenelder Elementary School, and he went on to excel in a variety of sports, both within and outside the confines of his academic institution.
As a teenager, Chuck discovered his passion for BMX racing, which soon became his go-to activity. However, his enthusiasm for sports didn't stop there. He also dabbled in gymnastics and baseball, demonstrating exceptional talent as a pitcher, earning him a spot on the Pony League All-Star Team.
As Chuck entered high school, he made a dramatic shift, opting to compete in the aquatic sports of Water Polo, swimming, and diving (springboard). Additionally, he developed a love for racing, which began with his involvement in the world of Karts. This initial foray into racing led to a prestigious opportunity with the WKA in the Yamaha Sprint series (100cc),taking him on a journey across the United States.
Before long, Chuck's racing prowess caught the attention of the Puente Hills Malibu Grand Prix track, which offered him the esteemed position of chief mechanic at the age of 17. This remarkable achievement made him the youngest person to hold such a role at the time.
It was during his tenure at the track that Chuck met Mike Vendrell, a mutual friend introducing them. Mike's introduction to the world of stunts sparked a long-held dream for Chuck, who had always been fascinated by the art of stunts. After years of perseverance and dedication, Chuck finally broke into the stunt business, and his career has been a testament to his unwavering passion and commitment.
