Clint Calvert, born Richard Clinton Calvert, in Evansville, Indiana, was the youngest of a loving homemaker mother and a hardworking father, surrounded by a brother and two sisters. As the last born, he often felt like an outsider, but his shyness prevented him from ever stepping into the spotlight until a gradual build-up of confidence led him to where he is today.
Throughout his journey, Clint has had the privilege of studying at the prestigious Playhouse West in North Hollywood, under the guidance of the late Ivan Markota of The Van Mar Academy of Motion Picture Acting. When he wasn't in Indiana, he would frequently drive to Nashville, Tennessee, to attend The Actors School, where he could satisfy his deep-seated need for genuine human connection, which acting always seemed to bring him.
Before pursuing his passion for acting, Clint had a diverse range of experiences, including being a street racer, auto mechanic, and custom car builder. His passion for mechanics has always been evident, and he found solace in this work. Additionally, Clint is a devoted father of two wonderful children, and although he is currently divorced, his love for cinema continues to be a source of comfort and escape.
