Colin Donnell, a renowned American actor, hails from St. Louis, Missouri, and now calls New York City his home. Prior to his television debut, he made a name for himself in the world of stage productions. His early work on stage included a stint in the ABC series 'Pan Am', followed by his breakout role as Tommy Merlyn in The CW's hit show 'Arrow'. In New York, he has appeared in various stage productions, including 'Anything Goes', opposite Sutton Foster and Joel Grey, for which he received nominations for the Drama Desk, The Outer Critics Circle, and Astaire Awards. The Grammy-nominated cast recording of 'Anything Goes' also features his voice.
In addition to his work on 'Anything Goes', Donnell has appeared in other notable stage productions, including the world premiere of Edward Albee's 'Me, Myself and I', where he originated the role of Otto. He has also appeared as Franklin Shepherd in Stephen Sondheim's 'Merrily We Roll Along', and can be heard on the new cast recording of the show. Most recently, Donnell played the role of Berowne in The Public Theatre's Shakespeare in the Park production of 'Love's Labours Lost', directed by Alex Timbers.
Donnell's feature film debut, set to be released in 2014, is 'Every Secret Thing', directed by Amy Berg.
