Colin transformed his passion for cinema, technical fascination, and acting hobby into a fulfilling career in filmmaking. During his student days, he created numerous award-winning CGI animations and VFX-driven short films, showcasing his exceptional skills. After graduating from Wesleyan University in 2007, he joined Connecticut-based independent production company Synthetic Cinema International.
In 2011, Colin directed Steve Niles' Remains, the inaugural original feature for NBCUniversal's Chiller Network. He went on to direct two more features for the network: Dead Souls and Deep in the Darkness, both adapted from novels by Michael Laimo. His upcoming film project is Wishin' and Hopin', a heartwarming Christmas story about a 10-year-old boy in 1964, based on the New York Times bestselling novel by Wally Lamb.
Beyond directing, Colin also produces for SCI and oversees post-production and VFX, ensuring that films are delivered on time and within budget. He firmly believes that a successful director should have a deep understanding of every role on set, setting the tone for the cast and crew with his infectious energy.
