Collin's journey as a performer began with his formative years spent lip-syncing in talent shows, tapdancing in dance recitals, and starring in local musicals throughout central Arkansas. Despite his extensive experience, he was surprised to find that Hollywood had not yet come knocking on his door.
Undeterred, Collin continued to hone his craft, performing in over 30 plays and musicals, earning a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Theatre from the University of Central Arkansas, and interning with renowned guest artists such as Anthony Zerbie, Gregory Hines, Edward James Almos, and Jerry Van Dyke. He also had the opportunity to perform at the prestigious Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., solidifying his confidence as an actor and dancer.
With his skills refined, Collin felt ready to take on the off-Broadway stages of New York. He spent six months as a stage-hand at the acclaimed off-Broadway house, the "Drama Dept.," before landing roles in productions at the Lucille Lortel Theater alongside esteemed company members such as Cynthia Nixon and Marisa Tomei.
Collin's breakthrough came when he secured a series of national TV commercials, including the notable "Brains and Beauty" campaign for General Electric. In this campaign, he played the role of an an-technology professor who finds himself in an unlikely love affair with Sports illustrated swim suit cover girl, Yamilla Diaz. The success of this commercial led to Collin relocating to Los Angeles, where he has continued to build his career in front of the camera.
