Here is Conan Stevens' biography:
Conan Stevens, a 7-foot-tall Australian of English/German ancestry, is a unique individual who has achieved success in both professional wrestling and ballet. He is the only Professional Wrestling Champion title holder to concurrently work in the ballet, having performed in Graeme Murphy's "Berlin" with the Sydney Dance Company for five seasons at the Sydney Opera House.
Before his film career, Conan worked in improv stunt theatre and collaborated with UK comedian Julian Cleary on his stage show, touring Australia. However, a debilitating nerve injury (Guillain-Barre syndrome) forced him to sideline his wrestling career, prompting him to start a laptop repair and business IT support center.
After years of slow recovery, Conan moved to Thailand, where he secured a role in the kids action movie "Powerkids" and later became a stuntman for several films and TVCs. Despite a dearth of work due to a military coup, Conan remained in Thailand and continued to work in the film industry for the next seven years.
During this time, Conan wrote the screenplay for and starred in "Bangkok Adrenaline," which brought him international attention. He also worked on several other projects, including "True Legend" and "Drona," and managed to secure roles in Indian cinema releases.
Conan's online marketing efforts, helped by fans of the ASOIAF books, eventually led to his breakout role as Ser Gregor "The Mountain That Rides" Clegane in HBO's "Game of Thrones." He then used this success to approach Sir Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit," landing the role of Azog.
Conan's subsequent credits include a guest star role in "Spartacus," the lead role in "Vikingdom," and appearances in "Brothers," "The Bible," and "Encantadia." He has also worked in Thailand, India, Romania, Morocco, and Indonesia, and currently bases out of L.A. while maintaining his global film contacts.
