Born and raised on the west side of Chicago, Hendrix embarked on a journey of self-discovery, which ultimately led to his graduation with a degree in Liberal Arts from Southern Illinois University, where his passion for the art of acting began to blossom and flourish, laying the foundation for a lifetime of creative endeavors. This nascent enthusiasm soon manifested itself as Hendrix joined The St. Louis Black Repertory Company, a renowned troupe that traversed the country, captivating thousands with their productions and providing Hendrix with a wealth of valuable experience and exposure. Following this enriching experience, Hendrix returned to his hometown of Chicago, immersing himself in the city's vibrant theater scene, where he appeared in a diverse array of independent films, further honing his craft and expanding his repertoire. His impressive resume boasts a range of notable credits, including a starring role in Spike Lee's critically acclaimed film Chi-Raq, guest appearances on the popular television series Chicago Med and Chicago P.D., a recurring role on Showtime's hit series The Chi, a series regular position on The 4th Installment of Fargo, and a recurring role on FX's acclaimed drama The Bear, solidifying his position as a talented and versatile actor.
