Corey Martin Craig, a native of Lincoln, Nebraska, experienced an uneventful childhood, typical of many Midwestern kids. However, his life took a dramatic turn when he lost his father in a tragic accident at the tender age of six. The subsequent seven years were marked by Corey's acting out and getting into trouble, which became a regular occurrence in his life. He was often kicked out of class, struggling to find his place in the world.
It wasn't until he stumbled upon his eighth-grade theater class that Corey discovered his true calling. This marked the beginning of his journey to develop his artistic voice, which was nurtured and encouraged by his teacher. Two and a half years later, Corey was accepted into the prestigious Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, a decision that would change the course of his life forever.
Corey's mother, Dessa, was his rock, and together they made the bold decision to relocate 1,500 miles to California. Corey thrived in his new environment, winning numerous awards and accolades, including 1st Place in the Comedic Scene at the Role About Festival and the Gold Medal for Outstanding Student in TV/Film from the Los Angeles County ROP Program. He was also chosen to represent his school as the featured speaker at his graduation.
After graduation, Corey landed an internship at Warner Bros. Studios, where he leveraged his opportunity to build a vast network of friends and connections. These relationships led to stints with Silver Pictures, Amara Films, and HDFilms, resulting in writing and acting assignments.
Today, Corey is a multifaceted individual, exceling as an actor, writer, producer, and comedian. He has made numerous television and film appearances, including Godzilla, Grey's Anatomy, Shameless, and The Guild. Corey is also the founder of Cool Beans Comedy and the Troublemaker Foundation, an organization dedicated to inspiring youth to achieve their potential through goal setting.
