Daniel "Danny" Greene's early life was marked by a loving and supportive family environment, with a mom, dad, and sister who encouraged his various pursuits. Growing up in Miami, Florida, he was an avid sports enthusiast, participating in activities year-round. This passion earned him a football scholarship to Florida State University, where he attended and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs.
During his junior year, Greene had the opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy, as part of the FSU Foreign Study Program. This experience not only broadened his cultural horizons but also allowed him to travel extensively throughout Western Europe using a Eurail pass.
Greene's rugged good looks soon caught the attention of Hollywood, leading to numerous guest starring roles on television shows. His breakthrough came with a starring role on the popular series Falcon Crest, followed by leading parts in action-adventure films shot on location in various countries around the world, including Yugoslavia, Argentina, Italy, Zimbabwe, Russia, South Africa, Jamaica, and China.
Throughout his acting career, Greene has had the privilege of working with esteemed directors and actors, including the Farrelly Brothers, whose creative vision has resulted in some of his most memorable performances.
In his personal life, Greene met the love of his life, former actress LaGena Lookabill, in 1990 and the couple has since settled down in beautiful Charlotte, North Carolina.
