Daniel Reader is a talented and accomplished individual with a diverse range of experiences and credits to his name. Born in Greensborough, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, he grew up in Bendigo, Victoria, where he built a mud brick house in Strathfieldsaye.
Daniel's early years were marked by a strong educational foundation, completing all of his primary school years and then moving on to Catholic College Bendigo, where he graduated in the class of '98. He then went straight into the Army Reserves, becoming a Private in the 15th transport squadron in Bendigo.
With his military background, Daniel has developed a range of skills, including serving in the military, being a licensed bodyguard, and an Emergency Response Team Member. He uses these skills not only on set but also as a Combat / Tactical Instructor at Screen Queensland Studios, where he teaches a high-end Film Combat Safety Course.
In addition to his work as an actor, Daniel has a range of other occupations. He works as an Armed Guard driving armored vehicles and is an Auxiliary Firefighter on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia.
Daniel's acting credits include playing the role of Booker in the Australian feature film "Patched," cast alongside Gary Sweet, as well as appearing as an American bodybuilder on the Netflix series "Son Of A Donkey" (Superwog Series). He has also worked on the series "Joe Vs. Carole" (UCP, Peacock) and the crime drama "Spiderhead" (Producer Chris Hemsworth),alongside Chris Hemsworth, Miles Teller, and Jurnee Smollett.
Daniel has been in the industry for close to 17 years and has had credited roles in Young Rock, Neighbours, and Playing for Keeps, to name a few. He is a tall bodybuilder, standing at 197cm tall and weighing around 118kg (LEAN),and is often recognized for his intimidating stature. However, he is also a sensitive alpha male who has a strong sense of self-awareness.
As a divorced father of three, Daniel is a dedicated family man who is passionate about his work and his personal life. He is a true professional who has a deep understanding of the importance of hard work and dedication in achieving success.
