Danny Arroyo is a multifaceted artist with a Bachelor's Degree in film production and script writing. He has accumulated over 80 credits in film, television, and commercials, and has won four "Best Actor" awards at various film festivals.
Arroyo is a series regular on Amazon's Sangre Negra... Black Blood, for which he received the "Best Actor" award at the Vive Latino America Awards Show. The show also stars Erik Estrada and Eric Roberts.
In addition to his work on Sangre Negra, Arroyo is set to star in several upcoming projects, including Day Labor on AppleTV, The Stolen Valley on AppleTV, The Charisma Killers, Switched at Love on Amazon Prime, Nobody's Angel on Amazon Prime, and Adolescents of Chymera on Amazon Prime and Tubi.
Arroyo's past work includes the true life story film The Last Smile, for which he won "Best Actor" at the Silicon Valley Film Festival and was nominated at the Burbank International Film Festival. He is also the producer, co-writer, and actor on TV show pilot, The Detective, starring Michael Madsen.
Arroyo has a guest star role on Wild West Chronicles, playing the legendary California bandit, Tiburcio Vasquez. He wrote, directed, produced, and starred in the comedy short film Bite!, which won 10 film festival awards, including four "Best Comedy" awards, two "Best Actor" awards, and one "Best Director" award.
Arroyo is currently developing four screenplays: Socio, Gamers, LONELY SATURDAY NIGHT SYNDROME, and OUT OF CUBA.
As an advocate for Latino representation in entertainment, Arroyo produced, wrote, and hosted the successful live event "HOLA: THE PHENOMENAL GROWTH OF LATINO TV" for the Television Academy of Arts & Science (Emmys),featuring the Presidents/CEOs of various Latino TV stations and networks.
Arroyo is an avid meditator, having not missed a day in almost nine years, and enjoys reading comic books, working out, writing screenplays and journals, playing fantasy football and video games, and watching classic Hollywood films on the big screen.
