Darlene Violette is a talented New York City-based actor and writer, hailing from Taunton, Massachusetts. She is a proud graduate of the prestigious Trinity Repertory Conservatory in Providence, Rhode Island.
Darlene's impressive television credits include appearances on the critically acclaimed FX series Pose, created by Ryan Murphy, as well as Season One of the Netflix series The Punisher, The Path, Bull, the HBO miniseries Show Me A Hero, Louie, 30 Rock, The Heart, She Holler, Ugly Betty, Wonder Showzen, Delocated, Law & Order, Law & Order SVU, and opposite Kate Winslet in the HBO miniseries Mildred Pierce.
Her extensive film credits include Bad Education opposite Allison Janney and Hugh Jackman, the Sony Pictures feature Premium Rush directed by David Koepp, Two Days in New York starring Chris Rock and directed by Julie Delpy, Skate Kitchen, Adam Bloom, The Hungry Ghosts directed by Michael Imperioli, and God's Behaving Badly directed by Marc Turtletaub. As a writer, Darlene has honed her craft at Trinity Rep Conservatory with Eliza Anderson, Studio Dante with Francine Volpe, and The Upright Citizens Brigade in NYC. Her writing credits include plays, sketches, and a web series. She has also produced several theatrical productions and penned a stage play and screenplay about the life and career of the legendary Mae West.
