Dave Alan Johnson is a renowned writer, director, and showrunner who has been instrumental in creating entertainment content worth nearly half a billion dollars. Throughout his illustrious career, he has collaborated with some of Hollywood's most prominent names, including the legendary Steven Spielberg. One of his most notable achievements is co-creating and executive producing the ABC hit drama "High Incident" with Spielberg.
Dave has had the privilege of working with virtually every major entertainment company in Hollywood, including Disney, Sony, MGM, Fox, ABC, NBC, CBS, and others. He has written scripts across a wide range of genres and forms, from Dick Wolf's early television series "Nasty Boys" to the acclaimed Gary Goldberg series "Brooklyn Bridge" to the Hollywood Pictures script for the film "The Blue Wall".
In addition to his impressive television credits, Dave co-created and served as showrunner for the international hit series "Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye", which starred Deanne Bray as the first Deaf actor in a title role in television history. The show also featured her husband, Academy Award winner Troy Kotsur, in his first series recurring role.
Dave has also served as executive producer, writer, and/or director of numerous audience-favorite films worldwide, including "Christmas with Tucker", "Mom's Night Out", "October Baby", "Coffee Shop", and "Vanished", among others. He is one of the founders of the new content company Exceleration Studio, where he oversees all creative endeavors.
Exceleration Studio recently announced its inaugural production, "Music Row", which Dave co-created. He serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside country music star HARDY and Grammy Award-nominated songwriter Ben Johnson.
