A native-born performer, Daved's thespian talents were first showcased on the stage of Austin, Texas, marking the beginning of a professional acting career that would span years to come. As the allure of Tinseltown proved too great to resist, Daved traded in his Austin roots for the bright lights and endless opportunities of Hollywood.
For the past decade, he's been a fixture in the city's coffee shop scene, sipping on lattes and pretending to craft screenplays by day, and auditioning for any and all roles that came his way by night. His impressive resume boasts numerous national commercials, cementing his status as a sought-after talent in the industry.
Daved's big break came with the co-writing and starring role in the award-winning Doritos Super Bowl commercial, Time Machine, a project that showcased his versatility and range as a performer. His television debut followed soon after, as he appeared alongside comedy legend Mindy Kaling in the final season of THE Mindy Project.
In addition to his television work, Daved co-produced, with esteemed Emmy Award-winning director Jill Soloway, the short film Cuddle Party, which boasted an impressive cast including Michaela Watkins, Rob Huebel, and Yvette Nicole Brown. His critically acclaimed film, Last Call, saw him take on multiple roles behind the camera, writing, producing, and starring in the project.
When he's not busy treading the boards or in front of the camera, Daved can be found spending quality time with his loving wife, Melissa, whom he married in 2006, and their two beautiful children. The family splits their time between their homes in Los Angeles and Austin, with Daved remaining committed to his craft and constantly seeking out new opportunities to hone his skills and push the boundaries of his art.
