David's life journey began near Savannah, Georgia, with a childhood spent mostly in Atlanta, punctuated by a three-year sojourn in Los Angeles. As a youngster, David's passion for film, television, and theatre was evident, with a keen interest in the performing arts that only intensified as he grew older.
High school and college saw David actively engaged in theatre, honing his craft through performances and community theatre after graduation. For the past decade, he has dedicated himself to television and film, amassing a remarkable body of work.
David's impressive resume boasts dozens of credits in television and film, including episodes of House of Cards on Netflix, NCIS: New Orleans on CBS, CSI: Cyber on CBS, Genius on BET, Black Lightning on The CW, and recurring roles on Kevin (Probably) Saves the World on ABC and BET's American Soul. His film credits include Killing Reagan, Hillbilly Elegy, and The Banker, with a lead role in the Lifetime film Lover in the Attic.
Throughout his career, David has had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed Academy Award winners Ron Howard, Kevin Spacey, Patricia Arquette, and William Hurt.
Beyond his work in film and television, David has extensive experience in radio, commercial voice-over work, and live television appearances. He is also a skilled Master Barber, having set a Guinness World Record on NBC's Today Show for shaving the most heads in one hour (73) as a benefit for The St. Baldrick's Foundation (for Childhood Cancer Research).
