David Thomas Arquilla was born on June 5, 1991, in Dayton, Ohio, to Kathleen Ann Arquilla and Thomas Joseph Arquilla. His parents, of European descent, have Italian, German, Irish, Bohemian, French, and Polish nationalities.
Growing up, David was an outdoorsy person who enjoyed sports, particularly basketball, baseball, soccer, golf, football, and track. At 14, he discovered weight training and became hooked. His parents instilled in him the value of hard work, and he worked various jobs, including landscaping, home renovations, and maintenance.
David attended Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School and later pursued a degree in Business-Finance at Wright State University. During his college years, he modeled for regional fashion shows and took acting classes at The Human Race Theater in Dayton.
After graduating in 2013, David had to decide between pursuing a career in corporate America or the entertainment industry. With the help of his cousin, Tricia Horst, a supermodel, actress, and producer, he packed his bags and drove to New York City to start his acting career.
In New York, David studied acting with renowned coaches like Marc John Jefferies, Anthony Abeson, Bob Krakower, Wendy Makkena, Devin Shacket, and Dustin Felder. He gained experience in student films, comedy sketches, and commercials for clients like Verizon Wireless, Alakazam Apps, Reebok, Budweiser, and Way of Wade.
In 2016, David booked a series regular role in the TV pilot "The Wohs," a supernatural drama about the music industry, alongside Joseph Sikora from the hit Starz TV show "Power." He also appeared in "Shadow of Doubt" on Investigation Discovery and "CONAN" on TBS.
David's film credits include "Swipe" on Amazon Prime, where he co-leads as CIA secret agent Benjamin Keaton, and "The Other Two" on Comedy Central. He has also performed on stage in the national tour of "Justice On Trial," written by acclaimed director and producer Chad Lawson Cooper.
