David Bertucci was born and raised in Highland Park, Illinois, to Bruce and Patricia Bertucci, and is the grandson of Bruno and Lena Bertucci, Patrick and Paulina Moroney, and great-grandson to Edward J. Moroney, the former Chief of Police in Highland Park, Illinois. He is also the great-nephew of William Henning, the former Chief of the Fire Department in Highland Park, Illinois.
Growing up, David was an energetic individual who enjoyed playing football, participating in school theater, and engaging in daring activities in his neighborhood, much to the dismay of his parents. However, these experiences made him feel alive and invigorated.
At the age of 21, David decided to take his passion for daring stunts to the next level by enrolling in Kim Kahana's Stunt School in Orlando, Florida. Over the course of two years, he learned the ins and outs of stunt work in the film industry, honing his skills and preparing himself for a career in the entertainment industry.
David's early career began at Walt Disney World's "Wild, Wild, Wild West Show in Frontier Land" in the Disney main park, where he played the role of "Bronco Billy." This experience marked the beginning of his journey in the entertainment industry.
As he gained more experience, David started booking costarring and stunt roles on various USA cable network shows being shot in Orlando, Florida. He quickly landed roles on "Swamp Thing" and "Superboy," utilizing his stunt skills in conjunction with his acting abilities to become a dual threat.
At the age of 25, David made the move to Los Angeles, where he studied acting at the Sanford Meisner Center in North Hollywood under the guidance of Sanford Meisner and his protégé Martin Barter. After Sanford's passing, David continued his studies at the Stella Adler School of Acting in Hollywood.
Currently, David is an ongoing student at the Beverly Hills Playhouse in Beverly Hills, California, where he is further developing his acting skills under the tutelage of Allan Barten and Art Cohen.
