Consequently, he was reassigned to Singapore, where he took on a leadership role in jungle patrols, battling terrorism in Malaya during the year 1953.
After his military service, David ventured into the world of acting, securing a notable recurring role as Dr. Nick Williams in the long-running television series, Emergency Ward 10. As his acting career advanced, he redirected his focus to scriptwriting, crafting scripts for a diverse array of productions, including the iconic 'Black Beauty', the critically acclaimed 'Within These Walls', the esteemed 'Edward the Seventh', the celebrated 'Disraeli', the beloved 'Lillie', and the unforgettable 'We'll Meet Again'.
