David Dean Bottrell is a talented actor, playwright, and author, best known for his chilling portrayal of Lincoln Meyer on season three of Boston Legal. His extensive television credits include recurring and guest star roles on a wide range of popular shows, including the 2023 reboot of Frasier, Modern Family, FBI: Most Wanted, Law and Order (2022),The Blacklist, Rectify, Law and Order: SVU, Longmire, Mad Men, Justified, True Blood, NCIS, Criminal Minds, Castle, iCarly, and Days of Our Lives.
Prior to his television success, Bottrell honed his craft on the off-Broadway stage, where he has starred in his own critically-acclaimed one-man shows, "David Dean Bottrell Makes Love: A One-Man Show" and "The Death of Me Yet", which have consistently drawn sold-out crowds on both coasts. As a playwright, he co-wrote the off-Broadway play "Dearly Departed", which was later adapted into the film "Kingdom Come", starring Whoopi Goldberg, L.L.
