David Fincher, a renowned film director, was born in 1962 in Denver, Colorado, and spent his formative years in Marin County, California. At the tender age of 18, he embarked on a professional journey, securing a position at Korty Films in Mill Valley under the guidance of John Korty. This initial experience laid the groundwork for his future endeavors.
Subsequently, Fincher joined the prestigious Industrial Light and Magic (ILM) in 1981, where he honed his skills for two years until 1983. Following his departure from ILM, he ventured into the realm of television commercials and music videos, signing with N. Lee Lacy in Hollywood. This marked the beginning of a lucrative career in advertising, as he went on to direct commercials for prominent clients such as Nike, Coca-Cola, Budweiser, Heineken, Pepsi, Levi's, Converse, AT&T, and Chanel.
