David Knoll is a Canadian actor with an extensive background in performing in various mediums, including short films, feature films, commercials, and episodic television and web series. His passion for acting began when he was just six years old, after his parents enrolled him in a local acting school, where he mastered the fundamental skills of his craft.
As he grew older, David's desire to pursue a career in acting only intensified, and at the age of 11, he decided to find an agent and start building a reputation as a serious actor. Since then, he has worked tirelessly to develop his skills and establish himself as a dedicated and talented performer.
David is not deterred by the size or type of role, and he is equally happy to take on paid projects or work on student films to gain new experiences and develop interesting and diverse characters. One of his greatest strengths is his ability to adapt to almost any genre, whether it's comedy, drama, or suspense.
One of David's earliest feature films saw him play the breakout role of Edgar in Vincenzo Natali's "Haunter," where he starred alongside Abigail Breslin in this unique thriller-suspense film. In 2013, he was cast as the lead in the 12-episode family web/television series "Kid's Town," which completed filming its first season in June of that year.
David has also appeared in commercials and network television series, including "Reign" and "The Strain." He is a full member of ACTRA and is currently in grade ten, attending one of Canada's foremost performing arts schools in Toronto, Ontario, where he is majoring in drama.
In his free time, David enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as his rescue beagle Roxas. He is represented by Shari Quallenberg at AMI Talent Management Inc.
