David Labrava started his Hollywood career as a camera operator for the Zalman King Company, which produced notable films such as Red Shoe Diaries, 9 1/2 weeks, and In God's Hands.
He learned script writing while working as a camera operator and went on to star in the series Whiplash ZK as the host.
David also worked on an independent project entitled FTW for Picture Perfect Productions and starred in Fencewalker, a new film from Chris Carter, the creator of The X-Files.
With a passion for motorcycles that spans over three decades, David was hired as the Technical Advisor for Sons of Anarchy and was later cast as "Happy", a role he has played since the show's inception.
In addition to his acting career, David has developed a show he created with FX and has been editing a documentary he filmed about one of the larger motorcycle clubs.
He is also a prolific writer, penning a column in Hot Rod Magazine called 'Ol Skool Rodz, in which he shares his passion for hot rods and motorcycles.
Before writing for Hot Rod Magazine, David wrote for Horse Motorcycle magazine and even built a bike that made the cover of issue #13 in March 2001.
David is a certified Harley Davidson mechanic, having graduated from the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute and earning five diplomas.
In his free time, David is an accomplished glass artist with his own shop and owns a tattoo shop in Northern California called Evil Ink Tattoo in the Bay Area.
When he's not filming, David can often be found tattooing at his shop or building hot rods and bikes for fun, not profit.
