Dave Lawrence is a multifaceted Canadian creative force, exceling as an actor, writer, director, and producer. Born and raised in Calgary, he embarked on his artistic journey at a young age, training in improvisation at The Loose Moose Theatre Company since the tender age of 15.
It was during his formative years at The Loose Moose that Lawrence developed his iconic 'banger character, 'Terry', which would later serve as the inspiration for the critically acclaimed Sundance hit, Fubar.
Throughout his illustrious career, Lawrence has starred in numerous Canadian film and television productions, including notable roles opposite Leslie Nielsen in Doctor*ology and Tom Green in Freezer Burn.
In addition to his on-screen endeavors, Lawrence has also ventured into writing, collaborating with childhood friend Paul Spence to produce a book, Just Give'r, A Handguide By Terry and Dean, as well as several film projects, including his directorial debut, Western Confidential.
In 2009, Lawrence reunited with Paul Spence and Mike Dowse to create the sequel to Fubar, further solidifying his reputation as a talented and innovative creative force.
To this day, Lawrence continues to hone his improvisational skills, regularly performing at The Loose Moose Theatre Company, where his artistic journey first began.
