David S. Hogan is a multifaceted individual, renowned for his talents as an actor, producer, and director, having appeared in notable productions such as Z Nation (Seasons 1 and 4),Grimm, The Device, and The Parish.
Raised and currently residing in Seattle, Washington, David's early life was marked by a strong educational foundation, as he pursued a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Seattle University, with minors in Music and Psychology.
During his time at Seattle University, David discovered his passion for performance through his involvement with the university choir and drama program, ultimately landing his first role as the Street Singer in Bertold Brecht's The Threepenny Opera.
Following his university education, David continued to hone his craft, frequently collaborating with the Seattle Shakespeare Company, where he brought to life iconic characters such as King Henry in Henry V, Caliban in The Tempest, Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Antony in Julius Caesar.
A self-proclaimed dog enthusiast, David has had the privilege of playing the noble and wise canine, Enzo, in The Art of Racing in the Rain at Book-It Repertory Theatre, earning him the esteemed title of three-time winner of the Seattle Times Footlight Award for Stellar Acting and winner of the Gypsy Rose Lee Award for Outstanding Acting.
In 2012, David co-founded Mighty Tripod Productions and Mighty Tripod Acting Studio with his wife, Angela DiMarco, also an accomplished actor. Together, they have produced numerous short films and feature films, including Narco Hitman (2016),The Parish (2019),and Mr. Bleachers.
As educators, David and Angela offer on-camera training to students of all ages and experience levels, sharing their expertise and passion for the craft.
