Noted American actor, David Schwimmer, embarked on his journey in the world of performing arts with a humble beginning in New York, only to relocate to Los Angeles where he spent most of his formative years.
It was during his high school days that a perceptive instructor took notice of his innate talent and encouraged him to participate in a summer acting program at the prestigious Northwestern University.
This enriching experience had a profound impact on Schwimmer, who returned to Northwestern University to pursue a bachelor's degree in speech and theater.
As his passion for acting continued to grow, he joined forces with seven fellow Northwestern graduates in 1988 to co-found the renowned Chicago-based theater company, Lookingglass Theatre Company.
