David Shae is a talented actor from Rhode Island, currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia. His foray into acting began during his high school days, when he was part of a sketch group called The Blueberry Johnsons. Alongside his closest friends, they wrote and performed Saturday Night Live-style sketches, touring the local club scene in Providence, Rhode Island.
As he transitioned to Los Angeles, David pursued a professional acting career. He was accepted into the University of Southern California, where he resided off-campus in the Delta Chi fraternity house. While completing his college curriculum during the day, he attended acting classes at night, mentored by renowned instructors Janet Alhanti, Margie Haber, and Ivana Chubbuck. These training sessions led to various smaller roles in independent productions.
However, it was his relocation to the South that marked a significant turning point in his career. His first major network production was an episode of House Of Cards, where he played Buha, the press secretary to Joel Kinnaman, under the direction of Robin Wright. This led to a string of television appearances, including roles in The Gifted, Lodge 49, The Originals, and numerous other projects.
David's subsequent foray into feature films saw him secure a supporting role in Gemini Man, directed by the Oscar-winning Ang Lee. Currently, he continues to act in both television and film. When not working, David is actively involved in local charitable initiatives, utilizing improv as therapy for children with behavioral complications. He is also passionate about animal-related pursuits, having been accompanied by his rescued dog Tess for 13 years, which has greatly enriched his life.
