David Spade is a renowned comedian, actor, and writer, born on July 22, 1964, in Birmingham, Michigan, to Judith J. (Meek),a writer and editor, and Wayne M. Spade, a sales representative.
Growing up in Scottsdale and Casa Grande, Arizona, Spade developed a natural knack for pranks and humor, which led him to pursue a career in stand-up comedy. He began performing at nightclubs and college campuses across the country, eventually catching the attention of a casting agent who offered him a role in the film Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol (1987).
Spade's breakthrough came when he joined the cast of Saturday Night Live (SNL) in 1990, where he quickly became known for his razor-sharp sarcasm and ability to play a wide range of characters. He remained a cast member for six years, during which time he impersonated celebrities such as Michael J. Fox, Kurt Cobain, and Tom Petty.
After leaving SNL, Spade transitioned to a successful film career, starring in comedies such as Tommy Boy (1995) and Black Sheep (1996) alongside Chris Farley.
