Davida Williams, a talented actress born and raised in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, California, first stepped into the world of acting at the tender age of eight. Her early beginnings were marked by guest starring roles in various popular television shows, including The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Star Trek, Sister Sister, Days of Our Lives, and Hangin' with Mr. Cooper.
As she grew older, Davida's talents were recognized by the film industry, and she made her big screen debut in the 1993 comedy-drama Younger & Younger, starring the renowned actors Donald Sutherland and Brendan Fraser. Her subsequent film credits include the 2002 Nickelodeon production Cry Baby Lane, alongside the esteemed actor Frank Langella, and the HBO animated series Happily Ever After, where she lent her voice alongside the talented Raven-Symoné.
At the age of 13, Davida gained recognition for her appearance in the book Face Forward, a compilation of photographs featuring over 100 faces, including those of Sharon Stone and Lucy Liu, all styled by the late make-up artist Kevyn Aucoin. This exposure led to her being cast as Claire, the nemesis of Hilary Duff's character, on the highly successful Disney/ABC television series Lizzie McGuire. She remained on the show for two years before joining her cast mate Hilary Duff once again for the 2004 film Raise Your Voice, starring Rita Wilson, Kat Dennings, and Jason Ritter.
Following her time on Lizzie McGuire, Davida relocated to New York and secured a recurring role on the CBS daytime drama As The World Turns, where she portrayed Jade Taylor for a year and a half. Upon her return to Los Angeles, she made guest appearances on the television shows Revenge and 90210 before starring in the Lifetime movie Teenage Bank Heist.
In recent years, Davida has continued to expand her filmography, completing a project for the Free People Clothing brand, starring alongside Margaret Qualley from the popular television series The Leftovers. She has also appeared in a short film for Nylon Magazine, alongside Chloe Grace Moretz and Josh Rubin.
