Actress Delaina Mitchell has built a solid reputation for delivering memorable performances on-screen and beyond. She takes on the role of Mrs. Chastity Bjornsen, the tyrannical wife of Josh Brolin, in Paul Thomas Anderson's critically acclaimed film Inherent Vice.

Originally from Huntington Beach, California, Mitchell has been a performer and dancer since she was a young girl. She studied mime, acting, and dance, and was a competitive synchronized swimmer. Mitchell then set her sights on juggling and dancing on stilts as a member of "Girls on Stilts", which took her around the country performing.
She has also performed with Aerosmith at the American Music Awards, in their "Jaded" music video, and alongside Jane's Addiction at the Hollywood Bowl.
To hone her acting talents, Mitchell has trained at South Coast Repertory, National Institute of Dramatic Arts, and with renowned coaches Larry Moss and Harry Mastrogeorge. Over the years, she has lived, worked, and studied in Los Angeles, New York, and Sydney, Australia.
