Denzel Onaba is a talented and ambitious child actor, filmmaker, and musician who has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry despite his young age. Born to a Ugandan father and a Nigerian mother, Denzel's rich cultural heritage has influenced his work and passion for showcasing Afro-Canadian experiences.
Early Life:
Denzel was homeschooled and is a member of an online youth entrepreneurship program hosted by the Black Business Association of BC. He has been involved in various projects, including music videos, commercials, and short films, showcasing his versatility as an actor, writer, and filmmaker.
Career:
Denzel's on-screen debut was in the award-winning video short "Just Break Away" in 2021. He has since appeared in several short films, commercials, and television shows, including "A Godwink Christmas: Miracle of Love" and "Resident Alien." He has also co-directed an epic 4-minute film called "Sawabona" and has been featured on Global News as one of the youngest participants in Run-N-Gun, a 48-hour filmmaking competition.

Denzel has received recognition for his talent and dedication to his craft. He has been praised by Devon Mussett, a freelance film director, as "unequivocally one of the best child actors I've ever worked with." Personal Life:
Off-set, Denzel enjoys spending time with his younger sister Jazlyn, reading novels, playing video games and football, BMX biking, doing gymnastics, watching documentaries, learning about animals, and enjoying everything related to Harry Potter.
